Work backwards from the front door
Give your morning a realistic amount of room.
Reviewed September 7, 2026 · BedtimePilotStart with leaving
Set the time you need to leave, then list the preparation you actually do. Estimate each step using your own experience, including the small things you often forget.
Check the gap
Subtract the total preparation time from your leave-home time. If preparation would start before your wake-up goal, change a goal or shorten the routine yourself. BedtimePilot never silently moves your wake-up goal.
Move one task to tonight
Clothes, a packed bag or a prepared document can often be arranged the night before. This is a practical planning suggestion, not a rule about how mornings must work.
Cycle estimates are adjustable planning references. Actual sleep varies; this is not sleep-stage tracking or medical advice.
Try it tonight
Out the door, together
Give breakfast, keys and the commute their own time.
